Sterile Trout

Cold Springs Trout Farm (CSTF) follows Utah testing standards of ensuring each lot of sterile trout sold meets 95% sterility. Whether we raise the egg from our own broodstock or purchase from a supplier we can ensure your fish purchased meets this standard. We produce several triploid lots of fish each year. The triploid fish you purchased came from one of these tested lots.

While we raise many of our own trout from egg for sale, when we hit times of low water levels or drought our fish may not produce the quantity we need to fully supply ourselves year round. In those circumstances we will purchase eggs from a trusted supplier and raise them or broker live. Here are the results.
